At Woodbridge Aquarium & Wildlife Center, our Sales Team Members are the first spark of the guest experience. You’re not just selling tickets—you’re helping families plan unforgettable moments, guiding them toward experiences they didn’t even know they needed, and setting the tone for their entire visit.

What You’ll Do:
Sales & Guest Experience:
  • Greet every guest with energy, confidence, and genuine enthusiasm.
  • Sell admissions, memberships, birthday parties, field trips, and add-on experiences.
  • Identify guest needs and recommend the best experiences to maximize their visit.
  • Turn questions into opportunities and conversations into sales.
  • Create a welcoming, exciting first impression that sets the tone for the entire facility.
Drive Revenue & Results:
  • Actively contribute to daily and weekly sales goals.
  • Promote upgrades, packages, and special experiences.
  • Stay motivated in a goal-driven environment and celebrate wins as a team.
  • Take ownership of your performance and look for ways to improve.
Operations & Accuracy:
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle cash, card payments, and POS systems responsibly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front-of-house area.
  • Communicate booking details clearly to guests and internal teams.
Guest Support & Problem Solving:
  • Answer questions about exhibits, experiences, and policies.
  • Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally.
  • Stay calm, positive, and solutions-focused during busy or high-pressure moments.
Teamwork & Culture:
  • Work closely with Animal Care and Leadership teams to align on daily operations.
  • Support teammates during busy periods and contribute to a positive environment.
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with all team members.
What You Bring:
Required:
  • Outgoing, confident personality with strong communication skills.
  • Comfort talking to a high volume of guests throughout the day.
  • Positive attitude and ability to stay energized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math and cash-handling skills.
  • Reliability and strong work ethic.

  • Preferred:
  • Experience in sales, retail, hospitality, or guest services.
  • Experience working toward goals, quotas, or performance metrics.
  • Experience with booking events, parties, or group experiences.
Physical & Work Environment:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a busy, sometimes loud, guest-facing environment.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized during peak times.
